Holy smokes, Batman!
That was pretty much sums up my first thoughts when I got the email from JDR Blogger Awards saying my blog was nominated for their 2017 Blogger Awards. I don’t know how it happened, but I am definitely honored and excited about it.
I started this blog almost two years ago as a fun side project to channel my passion for writing into something that would hopefully be helpful to someone one day. I love to help people. It’s really that simple. I love to help and I love to write and out of those two things came The Aspiring Architect Blog. My goals for this blog are to offer some friendly advice and lessons learned that I’ve experienced being an aspiring architect, to bridge the huge gaps that exist for students going from high school to architecture school and again from architecture school to the profession, and to help all aspiring architects in any way that I can. It’s incredible (and baffling) to me to reflect on where my blog started to where it is now, and I can’t wait to see where I can take it in the years to come and how many aspiring architects I can help.
I would absolutely love your help in this voting competition! The Aspiring Architect has been nominated as Best Architecture Blog in the 2017 JDR Industry Blogger Awards. Voting is open and I sure would appreciate your help. If I win, I plan to give the prize money to a local aspiring architect that is currently making their way through college – I would LOVE it if you could help make that possible.
You can vote for The Aspiring Architect Blog here JDR Blogger Awards under the Architecture category.
Voting is almost over! Voting is open until 4 pm (PST) on April 24th. Each person can vote once per category, per device.
Again, if you are a fan of the blog, or at least kinda like it, I’d love your vote 🙂 Thank you for your help!
