A Timelapse View of an Aspiring Architect

So my husband and I got a new toy… a much cheaper version of a Go Pro. My not so secret reasons for wanting it was, of course, to use for my blog. I’m super excited to get started using it, so one of my first test runs with it was a quick timelapse of what you may see on my desktop screen throughout the day…

What you see below is about a 5 hour time period from a work day a couple of weeks ago condensed down to about 40 seconds. Take a look…

So what do you see? Lots of emails (I mean a TON of emails), some instant messaging conversations, a couple of phone calls, a good bit of Revit, some SketchUp, and probable a few other things here and there. In the weeks to come, I hope to expand on this to give you a full view into a day in the life of an aspiring architect. So stay tuned! And hopefully I can master my new toy…

PS…

If you are a fan of my blog.. or at least kinda like it.. I would LOVE your help and support by voting for “The Aspiring Architect” in this year’s JDR Blogger Awards! It only takes two clicks! All you have to do is click this LINK and vote for “The Aspiring Architect” under the Architecture category. I’d greatly appreciate it 🙂
